Wan Chi Ming Dragon and Lion Dance Team

The Wan Chi Ming Hung Gar Institute was established in New York City in 1973. The school is dedicated to preserving Chinese martial arts, dragon and lion dancing culture, along with Chinese culture for future generations.

Recently, celebrating its 50th Anniversary, The Wan School has mentored three generations and more than 1,000 Practitioners Over The Years. During The Celebration, The School Made New York History by parading fifty lions and a grand golden dragon over the Brooklyn Bridge Into The Heart Of Chinatown.

The school continues to provide performances for numerous community, corporate, and private events, as well as family festivities. With loyalty to a dwindling Chinatown, the school has remained on East Broadway for over 30 years, continuing the spread of martial and lion dance arts to this very day.
